Tweaking

I am still playing about with the look and feel of this site as it does need a bit of a makeover and to be honest I’ve somewhat neglected it.

In terms of the day job, I am making a slightly later start to the day as I am at the Directors Club dinner tonight, it’s an event that I am very much looking forward to as they always have fantastic guest speakers.

Ahead of this I have a chunk of time blocked off today to focus on people, both in terms of what an ideal rota looks like and and ensuring that we have enough people as we hit our peak trading season. It’s actually quite difficult to get the rotas right as our business is all about lunchtime when we need as many people as possible behind a till or a salad deck which means that we don’t have many hours to offer people either side of our lunchtime peak. We are getting closer to solving this problem as our recruitment is very much focused on part time staff but we still have a way to go.
