We have our delayed quarter brief today, the format is very simple and one which I borrowed from a past life. We have a one hour briefing for our store management teams then all our team members will be arriving at the venue for the evening’s party. As the only member of the senior team attending, I will be sticking around slightly longer than usual before heading north to a hotel as from there I will be driving back to Cheshire.
It’s been a strange old week as we have had three sunny days and two rainy (make that monsoon like) days which obviously affects our trading.
On the property front we now have a number of stores which are either in legals, heads of terms or completed so it’s full speed ahead in terms of getting them open.
