It’s been a lovely week with generally good weather and the family have had a good rest. I’ve generally kept away from email and only called a work colleague once (to be fair my excuse was the collapse of BHS as we both worked there) and I’m quite pleased that I was able to switch off.
We are heading over to the coast for a few hours before driving to Exeter so that Moira and Alex can catch their train back to Cheshire, I then have a lovely four hour drive back to London! It won’t be fun but it will be a lot easier than doing it with a board infant in the back seat.
Tomorrow I’m back to reality as I will have several hundred emails to plough through!
