We are taking a trip on our local steam powered railway, it’s intersting to note the differences between our steam powered train with her period carriages and the Thameslink train which I have the misfortune to commute into work with. Our steam train turned up when it was supposed to and we composed of a number of carriages which were sufficient to meet demand which meant that everyone got a seat. I’m struggling to see the “progress” made.
