A day in the life…….

I wrote yesterday’s update but for some reason forgot to post it which isn’t very clever!

I can honestly say that my feet hardly touched the ground yesterday, my day started with four weekly reviews with various store managers in the city, I then had a HR meeting before another meeting to kick start a new project (watch this space for more details) and then an meeting to update members of my team on the board meeting discussions and actions. I then spent forty five minutes on the phone catching up with our various ongoing property deals before sitting down with one of our mangers to complete a period review.

I ended my day on front of my laptop, wading through ninty or so emails and planning the rest of my week.

The key thing is that when I asked myself “have I made a difference today” which is something that I do on a daily basis I was able to give myself a positive answer. In my world that equates to time well spent.
