As much as we are keen to improve our processes and profitability we are also keen to make Vital as good a place to work at as possible which is why one of our strategic imperatives is to develope the culture and values of the business. We have already done some work towards this by introducing our monthly Friday night drinks and our themed days (not surprisingly this months theme is Halloween) along with a few other “little touches” which hopefully make a difference to our staff on a daily basis.

There remains much work to do in terms of L&D and making our pay and conditions best in class but we have a plan in place and my ambition remains to get Vital in the top 100 companies to work for list.
