I’m starting my day with a breakfast meeting in our Petty France store before meeting up with one of our multi unit managers and going on to spend some time with her visiting her group of stores. Inbetween these meetings I have some emails to deal with.
After this I’m heading back to the office for meetings which include our monthly managers meeting and our delivery store managers meeting.
Delivery as a whole is moving up our agenda as we are close to having the tools to really get out there and grab some market share. Our starting point is that we need to improve our service to customers, once this has been achieved (and we are certainly getting better) our focus is then on having a closer relationship with both existing customers and lapsed customers. We are also improving our analytics, we are starting to learn a lot more anout our customers and their ordering patterns which enables us to further challange our managers to grow their business.
Finally, we have one of our managers who is focusing on all things delivery as well as supporting on local store marketing and whilst it’s early days, he is starting to make a difference.
