I’m really proud of our app, since we launched i the number of members of our Club Vital loyalty scheme have increased, we have reduced waiting times at the tills as earning and burning points is a one button press process. Ever more people are using the in app wallet to pay and recently we have seen a 100% increase in click and collect transactions as more people use that functionality on the app.

Whilst I am proud of what we achieved (with huge thanks to Pepper HQ and Preoday who helped develop the app) we have a ways to go. What we have yet to do is fully exploit our database and actively have a conversation with our regular customers. We have plans to do this in the new year plus also plans to help keep our app relevant and further engage with our customers.

We also need to do more work to increase the number of downloads plus keep the number of active users above 50%. How we plan to do this is based on engaging with fitness instructors and nutritionists and this is what we are in the process of doing, the hope being that the app moves away from being solely a Vital app to being more of a lifestyle app for people who are interested in wellness and nutrition
