The importance of rest

For those of you that have taken at look at Myers Briggs, my saying that I am an INTJ will mean something. I have always marveled at how closely I match that personality type, especially the “I”.

MB talk about “I” and “E” with them being introvert and extrovert. This isn’t about being either shy or outgoing but more about where you obtain your mental energy. As an “I” my idea of recharging my batteries is being away from people as I find social interaction mentally draining. Being on my own in Spain is allowing me to rest and regain some energy after what has been an awful 12 months.

I find it hard to be positive when I’m tired and that isn’t a good place to be. After a few days away I am feeling much brighter.
