Having taken some 20 pages of notes over the last couple of weeks I have managed to pick out the key areas that our people believe we should be working on. These include areas such as internal communications and career progression. I’m now busy pulling together a first draft of my plan and will have it ready for Friday morning in order to review it with other colleagues before presenting it to the regional directors on Monday. I’m keen to be as inclusive as possible when putting together this plan as my sense is that our people want to understand and get behind new ideas.
In my humble opinion, even the best conceived plans rely on great execution in order for them to succeed and great execution is usually facilitated by an informed and engaged group of people who believe in a unifying vision or set of goals, over the coming weeks I’m hoping to be in a position to provide them with these things.
