I’ve been at PV for three and a half months and it feels like a good time to take stock of where we are with regards to the team.
We have made a lot of good progress with the operations team, we now have a strong team of area managers and a great combination of a really talented operations director and a director of central services. These is an awful lot to do and this arrangement allows each of the two directors to focus on specific projects.
Out new head of people starts in September and I’m really excited to be working with him as I believe he’s going to help move our culture forward. We also have our own in house recruiter starting in a weeks time which will not only help us take the pressure off of our managers but will help us source and recruit better candidates.
The training team is more of less complete and we are starting to see some great outputs from them.
Finally, we have filled the NPD role and I’m really looking forward to working with our new hire as we look to take the menu several steps forward
So barring any last minute disasters we are almost there with the team which isn’t bad going in such a short space of time.
