I’m heading down to London for the day to take part in a tasting session for our October menu launch. We are on a pretty tight deadline and are therefore hoping to get everything signed off by early next week.
Our focus will be in hot food as we look to introduce some autumn/winter dishes and we think we have some great products. We are also looking to replace some of the slower selling lines.
On a separate note, we have started to get weekly GP results and whilst these still require a lot of work, they are a huge step forward. I have always found it incredible that a business of this size did not report margin and labour on a weekly basis, this has meant that our managers are not as commercially aware as they should be and that we have been unable to make good, fact driven decisions.
