I should leave Twitter well alone. I’m continually staggered at the inane comments people make and the easy way in which thousands of lost jobs in the hospitality industry are glossed over. I don’t claim to be a hospitality expert but I’ve been involved in the industry for a long time and had some senior roles and I have never seen a crisis of this magnitude. There are no easy answers and I have my fingers crossed that some degree of normality will slowly return in the coming months.
