Working in a pandemic

After a weekend of not doing very much I’m going to be working from home most of this week. Since the start of the pandemic I have been ultra careful and have drastically reduced the amount of social contacts that I have. I have used countless bottles of alcohol based hand sanitiser and worn masks in every shop that I have visited. As a family we have our “support bubble” and we have not deviated from this. At work I have what I describe as my “work bubble” which is a group of clients that I meet in person in a socially distanced way, usually in a large ventilated room. Most of the rest of my work is from home using Teams Or Zoom. When I stay away from home I ensure that I sanitise the surfaces in my hostel room and also if it’s longer than one day’s stay I ask for the room not to be cleaned.

I regularly sanitise my watch, phone, car keys and wallet as well as sanitising the control surfaces within my car.

As you can see, I’m ultra careful and whilst nothing is risk free I do feel that I have done as much as I can to avoid the infection and avoid infecting others
