This week promises to be an important one as we currently have eight good new businesses leads and I’m going to be working hard to convert them. I’ve never been a natural business development professional but since I decided to expand the practice I have been on a steep learning curve. To be fair, most of my previous work has come from referrals so I haven’t had to do much in the way of touting for business. Put that alongside that many of my clients stay with me for months and years and you have a situation where business development has not been a priority.
Times have changed, in the future I would personally like to transition myself to a roster of clients who keep me in an advisory role rather than the more hands on roles that I am currently fulfilling. This would allow me more time to not only grow the practice but to spend time on its day to day operations. This is years rather than months away but it’s a goal that I have set myself.
In terms of today, I am with the Karak Chaii senior team for the day.
