Judging

I’m spending half a day judging some of the categories in this year’s Eat Out magazines awards. I can’t say which categories I’m judging but there are five of them and I’ve really enjoyed reading the various submissions from the different entrants. I’m looking forward to discussing my thoughts with the other judges this morning and I’m sure that there will be some lively debate.

Once I’m finished judging I’m heading back to the office to prepare for our monthly managers meeting and for the first time we will also be having a separate meeting for our delivery shop managers as this is now an area of the business which we are looking to grow.

Finally, we had a food tasting day for some of our new ingredients yesterday and I came away from that session feeling like we e going to be doing some exciting things in the near future.
