With so many things on the go at the moment I have to own up to having looked at my emails everyday. I try and limit myself to spending thirty minutes in the morning deal with stuff that is both urgent and important and also making sure that I haven’t missed anything important. I then make sure that I leave the work mobile at home and try and forget about it. I do try and avoid doing this when I am abroad on holiday but if I stay in the UK then this seems like a decent compromise although I am sure that many people who read this will be shaking their heads and telling me that I should totally switch off.
Today is my last full day of holiday as I plan to drive back to London tomorrow afternoon so that I can get an early night and not have to face a three plus hour drive back down to London.
