I write this sat on a train speading back home after a full week. Overall its been a good week, the strategy day went well and we have made progress with new products which will be out to test in a week or so. We are well advanced with work on the Autumn launch, have plans in place for Christmas and are almost there with our winter launch.
Our new buyer has completed her first weeks induction and i am really excited about the value she can bring to the business in what remains a challenging environment as regards food inflation.
We have also made progress on other fronts and this coupled with another week of string sales growth has left me feeling relatively happy with life.
