I’m heading to the Midlands for my first day as a non exec with an amazing brand who you will be hearing a lot about in the near future, I will be talking about them a lot more over the coming weeks as I get into my role but this is something that I am hugely excited about as there is a lot of potential.
I’m spending the day at their GM meeting and will be doing some presenting both to introduce myself and to talk a little bit about what my role will involve and how I hope to add value.
It’s been a hectic week and I have fast discovered that juggling multiple projects requires careful planning and lots of discipline. You really do need to be good at compartmentalising things and I am trying to ensure that I deal with things sequentially to ensure that there is no overlap.
