Staycation

For all sorts of reasons we couldn’t make it to Italy this summer so instead we are making do with a few days in the South West. I’m combining a days work with a few days visiting the Plymouth area which we are quite looking forward to as a family. It’s been a difficult few months as being stuck in the house during lock down was not fun for anyone and Alex is especially missing his friends. Thankfully we have managed to being some normality back into his life with him going back to his football and gymnastics clubs. He’s even taken up table tennis and has joined a local club.

Work wise, I’m making progress with various clients and this week has been especially productive. I’m still on the look out for new projects and have recently turned my hand to landlord negotiations (in collaboration with a property expert) and I’m making progress in this area for a couple of clients.

I’m spending the day with a new client on Thursday as having done a two day strategic session for them I’ve been taken on as a board advisor and I’m looking forward to supporting the founder over the long term.

I have a few more potential projects which are at early stages of development and which could well bear fruit. I’ve also started to focus more on my website and am getting it properly SEO’d and will be adding an AI assistant which will answer potential clients questions and handle enquires.
